Real Estate and Home Sales UP in the greater Phoenix, AZ area for March 2009!

The Real Estate Market in the greater Phoenix, AZ area seems to be picking up this past month!
Checking out monthly Home Sales reports from the Arizona Regional MLS show that in February 2008 there were 57305 Active Listings & 3,445 Sales; in March 2008 there were 57,081 Active Listings and 4,303 Sales.
Now, in February 2009- 45,346 Active Listings and 4,772 Sales with 7,187 Pending Listings.
Even better- as of March 28, 2009 there are 47,539 Active listings, there have been 6,215 Sales and we have 13,640 Pending Sales! That is a great improvement and should be seen as a sign that the Market is possibly improving or at least beginning to 'level out'.
Anyone who can should be seriously thinking about buying a home or an Investment Property in the greater Phoenix, AZ area or you may look back and wish you had 5 years from today.
